Linksys Router help

Post by Nergal » Sat Jul 26, 2003 10:52 pm

Ok, Sorry all but please bear with me. I have never done this before. I have tried to start out by reading everything I can but somethings still seems to be wrong.

I am running a cable (roadrunner) with a linksys (befsr41) router. I have two comps one running xp and the other running 2000. both have directX9 on them. There fire walls are down. I would like to set one up as a dedicated server for meck warrior BK and be able to play on the other. I do not know if it is a port issue but I have finally gotten the hosted game to show up on the zone. But no one seems to be able to join. I cant join either but I can play other hosted games.

The ports that I have set up are as follows.
Port IP
6073 tcp .101
2302-2350 udp .101
2351-2400 udp .102
2799-2800 tcp .101
2805-2808 tcp .101
9999 tcp .101

What am I doin wrong here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is this a port issue or something else.

to join your own hosted game use the internal IP of that computer for MW4.
